The Glencoe Golf & Country Club is looking for Full-Time Seasonal Banquet Team Lead to join the Food & Beverage team for the upcoming 2025 Golf Season. As a Seasonal Banquet Team Lead, you will develop and monitor a team and staff focused on delivering a high level of service that meet or exceed member expectations. We are seeking a positive and energetic individual who enjoys interacting with our members, pride themselves on providing excellent service, and who works well in a team oriented and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead with precision by overseeing the setup, execution, and teardown of scheduled banquets and events, ensuring every detail is perfectly executed for an unforgettable guest experience
- Champion floor operations, coordinating food and drink service by working closely with the kitchen and service staff to deliver seamless and efficient service
- Stay ahead by managing stock levels and inventories of bar products and banquet items, ensuring everything is ready for events
- Address member concerns and complaints swiftly and professionally, ensuring their satisfaction and passing on valuable feedback to the team for continuous improvement
- Elevate service standards by empowering the team to achieve or surpass service standards, while monitoring and guiding staff to ensure consistent excellence
- Actively participate in Food & Beverage meetings and ensure all daily administrative duties are complete
- Ensures compliance with all Glencoe Health and Safety standards and the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety regulations
Qualifications:
- A proven track record, with a minimum of three years of experience in banquet-related position
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A diplomatic, professional and outgoing personality who is able to foster relationships with members and employees
- A team player who can lead, organize and engage in the delivery of training, and develop and maintain service standards
- Strong leadership, organizational and administrative skills
- High standards of ethics, honesty and integrity
- Reliable transportation is required as there is no public transportation to our location

Additional Details:
This a Full Time position that reports to the Banquets & Events Manager. The successful candidate may be required to work a variety of shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays, so a flexible schedule is required.
