We are seeking Seasonal Full-Time Chefs de Partie to join our Kitchen Team. You will be apart of the Supervisor Team of the Club, and oversee the a la carte Kitchen of The Glencoe Golf and Country Club. You will develop, oversee and lead with excellent communication skills with a focus on delivering a high level of food service that meet and exceed member expectations. You will assist in the creation and development of new culinary menus and feature items. As the Chef de Partie, you will deliver exceptional experiences in all that we do and will constantly aspire to create a second home environment for our members, guests and employees.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, inspire and empower the kitchen team to deliver high quality food with consistency and excellence ensuring each dish shines
- Master recipes, techniques, and presentation trends, ensuring every menu item is a special culinary masterpiece
- Cultivate a deep understanding of our members’ dining preferences and exceed expectations every time
- Ensure flawless execution by upholding kitchen procedures, from opening and closing checklists to inventory management, cleanliness, and quality control
- Champion exceptional standards in compliance with Calgary Health Region and Glencoe Health & Safety standards requirements, creating a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Oversee the efficient receiving and storage of ingredients, guaranteeing the freshest, highest-quality supplies for every dish
- Collaborate with the team on accurate monthly inventory management and precise record-keeping, ensuring seamless operations and accountability
Qualifications:
- Red Seal certification or equivalent Culinary diploma and a valid Food Safety certificate recognized by Alberta Health Services
- Skilled in preparing soups, sauces, stocks, and cooking meat, fish, and vegetables from scratch
- Knowledgeable about allergies and dietary requirements to ensure safe and tailored meals
- Strong communication skills with the ability to foster positive relationships with members and team members
- Team-oriented leader with a focus on motivating the team and delivering exceptional service
- Resilient under pressure, committed to producing high-quality, well-presented food with integrity
- Reliable transportation is required as there is no public transportation to our location

Additional Details:
These are Seasonal Full Time positions that report to the Executive Chef. The successful candidate may be required to work a variety of shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays, so a flexible schedule is required.
