We are looking for a dedicated and professional male to join our Housekeeping team full time at The Glencoe Club. As a Men’s Locker Room & Laundry Attendant you will provide a clean and healthy environment for members and guests and aim to achieve a high standard of professional cleaning at all times.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Report any maintenance requirements to supervisor
  • Effectively address member concerns and complaints immediately if possible, and take to supervisor when needed
  • Achieve and or exceed annual service standards
  • Works closely with the membership, housekeeping colleagues, and laundry to ensure service requirements are met
  • Ensures compliance with all Glencoe Health and Safety standards and the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety regulations

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of related experience
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job including standing for an extended period of time, walking, lifting, grasping and performing repetitive motions
  • Ability to converse and accurately follow verbal/written instructions in English
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with members
  • Ability to learn and apply basic skills through on-the job training

Additional Details:

This is a full time position that reports to the Housekeeping Director. The successful applicant must be able to work weekdays and weekends, with shifts being from 2pm-10:30pm Sunday to Thursday.

The successful applicant will be required to complete a background check as well as Respect in the Workplace and Respect in Sport online certifications prior to commencing employment.
