The Glencoe Golf & Country Club is seeking a Seasonal Full-Time Chef de Partie to join our Kitchen team for the 2026 Golf Season. As the Chef de Partie you will be a part of the Kitchen leadership team at The Glencoe Golf & Country Club. You will be responsible for ensuring exceptional members and guest service experiences. You will uphold a positive work culture, display motivating leadership with a team consisting of cooks, kitchen expeditors and dishwashers. You will be passionate about the products that you are preparing and serving and be able to educate the staff and membership with menu and product knowledge. You will strive to set The Glencoe apart from other private clubs and catering facilities with exceptional food offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide service excellence to members and guests through consistent food quality
- Effectively collaborate to address members and staff concerns or complaints
- Develop a good understanding of the member dining requirements
- Oversee line cooks to ensure quality, speed, and consistency of foodservice
- Actively assist with preparation and cooking of restaurant dishes
- Prepare and implement menu changes and features with the Chefs
- Ensure high sanitary standards in compliance with Calgary Health Region Requirements
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure orders are complete and product waste is minimized.
- Receive and store orders in line with company procedures
- Assist with monthly inventory and record-keeping
- Assist with management of food and labour costs, with a focus on limiting overtime and wastage
- Actively contribute to department training, teamwork, and collaboration
- Attend kitchen meetings and in-house training programs
- Ensure all kitchen procedures are followed, including opening and closing duties, par levels, cleaning, documentation and quality control
- Ensure the physical areas are well-appointed, clean and maintained
- Ensure compliance with all Glencoe Health and Safety standards and the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety regulations
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience with a la carte dining is preferred
- Red Seal certification or equivalent Cooking diploma is considered an asset
- Valid Food Safety course certificate recognized by AHS
- Proven track record of positive leadership and customer service
- Able to properly prepare soups, sauces, stocks from scratch and cook cuts of meat, fish and vegetables
- Have an accurate understanding of allergies and dietary requirements
- Resilient and outcome-focused in stressful situations, with a commitment to delivering well presented, quality food
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- First Aid & CPR Certification is considered an asset
- Reliable transportation is required as there is no public transportation to our location

Additional Details:
This is a Full Time Seasonal position that reports to the Sous Chefs and the Executive Chef. The successful candidate may be required to work a variety of shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays, so a flexible schedule is required.
The successful applicant will be required to complete a background check as well as Respect in the Workplace online certification prior to commencing employment.
