We are looking for enthusiastic Seasonal Part-Time Tennis Court Attendants to join our team at Elbow Park Tennis Club. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing the overall member experience while ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of the outdoor tennis courts. As a Seasonal EPTC Attendant, you will take initiative by proactively identifying and creating opportunities to elevate the member experience, ensuring a welcoming and well-maintained environment for all members.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure seamless adherence to area-specific operating policies, programs, and procedures, all aligned with the Club’s standards
- Welcome and engage with Elbow Park Tennis Club members and guests, providing a warm check-in experience that sets the tone for their visit
- Keep the five clay courts in pristine condition by maintaining, grooming, and sweeping them as needed to ensure optimal playing conditions
- Take pride in the Clubhouse’s appearance, maintaining a clean and inviting environment by sweeping, mopping, and keeping washrooms spotless throughout your shift
- Handle all sales transactions with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring smooth payments and balanced cash at the end of each day
- Be well-versed in emergency procedures, staying alert and prepared to respond swiftly and effectively in case of an emergency
- Monitoring the facility, promptly reporting any irregularities or concerns to the Duty Manager or Supervisor to maintain a safe and smooth operation
- Monitor incoming emails and respond to basic member inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Outstanding customer service abilities, with a strong focus on creating positive and memorable experiences
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision to achieve goals and maintain productivity
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and find effective solutions
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting, as part of clay court maintenance responsibilities
- Prior knowledge and experience in tennis, or a strong passion for the sport, is an asset

Additional Details:
This is a Seasonal Part Time position that reports to the Programs Coordinator. The successful applicant must be available to work starting May 8th, 2026 until October 12, 2026 for a variety of shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Shifts may vary and are typically scheduled from:
- Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 3:00 PM – close (dependent on sundown)
- Occasional weekday (Monday – Friday) evening shifts may be available (3:00 PM – close)
- Candidates must be available to work on weekends.
The successful applicant will be required to complete a background check as well as Respect in the Workplace and Respect in Sport online certifications prior to commencing employment.
