The Glencoe Golf & Country Club is offering full-time and part-time seasonal line cook positions within the Kitchen team for the 2025 Golf Season. As a Line Cook you will actively participate in the production of food at the Glencoe Golf & Country Club with a focus on delivering a consistently high level of food that meets or exceed member expectations. Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional dining experiences to members and guests by preparing and presenting food to perfection, staying up-to-date with the latest recipes, techniques, and plating standards to elevate every dish, whether it’s a menu item, special, or promotion
- Set the stage for success by ensuring all ingredients and equipment are meticulously prepped and ready to go, so every service runs smoothly and efficiently
- Keep an eye on product stock, assist in smart and efficient ordering, and support the On-Course team by ensuring proper stocking and equipment care
- Maintain a steady and energetic pace, efficiently completing tasks individually to guarantee fast and flawless service for our members
- Collaborate for success by working hand-in-hand with the entire Food and Beverage team, fostering communication and teamwork to ensure every shift runs seamlessly
Qualifications:
- A proven track record, with a minimum of 1 year in a similar kitchen
- Ability to prepare soups, sauces, stocks from scratch, cook cuts of meat, fish and vegetables
- Have an accurate understanding of allergies and dietary requirements
- Experience working under pressure and multitasking, while delivering accurate, quality food
- High standards of ethics, honesty, and integrity
- Reliable transportation is required as there is no public transportation to our location

Additional Details:
These are full time and part time positions that report to the Executive Chef. The successful candidate may be required to work a variety of shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays, so a flexible schedule is required.
