Squash Instructors

We are seeking highly motivated Part Time Squash Instructors to join our team. As a Squash Instructor you will deliver a high level of squash programming to our members and guests. You will be responsible for providing technical, tactical and physical components of group lessons with a focus on family and fun. You will deliver exceptional experiences in all that we do and will constantly aspire to create a second home environment for our members, guests and employees.

Responsibilities:

• Execute consistent and exceptional high level Squash Instructional services and programming to the members, guests and employees
• Plan programming activities that has a focus on family fun
• Actively support and participate in cooperation and teamwork within the department
• Ensure Squash physical areas are well appointed, clean, maintained and ready for efficient programming
• Compliance with all Glencoe Health and Safety standards and the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety regulations

Qualifications:

• Competitive Squash playing level experience required
• A strong knowledge base of the technical, tactical, physical and mental components of Squash
• Proficient organizational and time management skills
• A team player with a diplomatic personality who is able to foster relationships with members and employees
• High standards of ethics, honesty, and integrity

Additional Details:

These are Part Time positions that report to the Head Squash Professional. The successful candidate may be required to work a variety of shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays, so a flexible schedule is required.

The successful applicant will be required to complete a background check including a vulnerable sector check, Respect in the Workplace and Respect in Sport online certifications prior to commencing employment.
