We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our Housekeeping team at The Glencoe Club. As a Temporary Part Time Women’s Locker Room & Laundry Attendant you will provide a clean and healthy environment for members and guests and aim to achieve a high standard of professional cleaning at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, clean and maintained facility for all members and guests through various tasks such as mopping, vacuuming and laundry room tasks
- Upkeep of assigned areas and reporting any maintenance requirements to supervisor
- Effectively address member concerns and complaints immediately if possible, and take to supervisor when needed
- Actively collaborate and communicate with membership and housekeeping colleagues to ensure service requirements are met
- Complete tasks that meet Glencoe Health and Safety standards and the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety regulations
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of housekeeping or commercial laundry experience
- A diplomatic, outgoing personality with an ability to foster relationships with members and employees
- Comfortable with the physical requirements of the job including standing for an extended period of time, walking, lifting, grasping and performing repetitive motions
- Adaptability and flexibility to learn and apply skills through on-the job training
- Ability to effectively follow verbal and written instructions in English

Additional Details:
This is a 6-month Temporary Part Time position that reports to the Housekeeping Director. The successful applicant must be able to work weekdays and weekends. Shifts may vary and are typically scheduled from 6:00am to 2:30pm or from 2:00pm to 10:30pm.
The successful applicant will be required to complete a background check as well as Respect in the Workplace and Respect in Sport online certifications prior to commencing employment.
