Tennis Instructor

We are seeking a Part Time Tennis Instructor to join the Front Line Team of the Club. You will oversee the delivery of Group Lessons and Private Lessons at the Glencoe Club. You will deliver exceptional experiences in all that we do and will constantly aspire to create a second home environment for our members, guests and employees. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Provides service excellence to members, guests and staff through planning and delivery of tennis group and private lessons including high performance lessons 
  • Deliver interactive on-court coaching to members and guests of all ages and demographics 
  • Support with leagues, tournaments and other Tennis activities as required 
  • Actively contributing to departmental teamwork, collaboration and annual service standards 
  • Compliance with all Glencoe Health and Safety standards and the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety regulations 

Qualifications: 

  • A high level of customer service and tennis competitive playing level 
  • Experience coaching all age demographics 
  • A good knowledge base of the technical, tactical, physical and mental components of tennis 
  • Proficient organizational and time management skills 
  • A diplomatic personality able to foster relationships with members and employees  
  • A team player who can be part of a team and execute exceptional service 
  • High standards of ethics, honesty, and integrity

Additional Details: 

This is a Part Time position that reports to the Tennis Head Professional. The successful candidate may be required to work a variety of shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays, so a flexible schedule is required. 

The successful applicant will be required to complete a background check including a vulnerable sector check, Respect in the Workplace and Respect in Sport online certifications prior to commencing employment.
