We are seeking Part Time Banquet Servers for our Food & Beverage Banquet department. As a Server you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional member service experience with prompt, efficient and friendly service to members and guests. You will deliver exceptional experiences in all that you do and will constantly aspire to create a second home environment for our members, guests and employees.
Responsibilities:
- Provide service excellence and a positive experience to members and guests
- Ensure all preparation and closing procedures are completed
- Ensure timely and effective two-way communication between members, guests, staff and supervisor
- Display professionalism, teamwork and a positive attitude
- Billing processes and the handling of cash, credit, debit and member signed charges
- Ensure the physical areas are well appointed, clean and maintained
- Ensures compliance with all Glencoe Health and Safety standards, the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety regulations and the Alberta Gaming & Liquor Commission License requirements
- Other assignments as required
Qualifications:
- A proven track record, with minimum of 1 years’ experience in the food & beverage service industry
- ProServe Certification is required
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- A diplomatic, outgoing personality and ability to foster relationships with members and employees
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- High standards of ethics, honesty, and integrity
- Must be able to comfortable with the duties of the position for the duration of the shift and lift supplies weighing up to 50 lbs

Additional Details:
These are Part Time positions that report to the Banquets Supervisor. Successful candidates may be required to work a variety of shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays, so a flexible schedule is required.
Neat appearance and proper uniform, including tied-back hair and closed-toe shoes, are imperative to this role.
Successful applicants will be required to complete a background check as well as Respect in the Workplace online certification prior to commencing employment.
