We are seeking a Full Time Building Operator to join the Front-Line Team at the Golf Club. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, member focused environment where facility operations directly support the member and employee experience. You will be integral to the daily operation, maintenance, and reliability of the Club’s building systems, with a strong focus on proactive and preventative maintenance. From monitoring mechanical systems and addressing repairs to managing work orders through Facility Dude, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our facilities remain safe, efficient, well-presented, and ready to support exceptional experiences every day.

Responsibilities:
- Effectively prioritize and address work orders, autonomously, promptly, and efficiently to consistently enhance our overall member and employee experience
- Monitor and operate the Club’s building automation systems, including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance of HVAC-related equipment such as pumps, motors, fans, and variable frequency drives
- Complete general facility maintenance and repair tasks, including equipment and fixture replacement, furniture assembly, basic carpentry, minor plumbing, painting and other hands-on operational support as required
- Maintain boiler water chemistry and ensure optimal boiler operating conditions
- Support seasonal groundskeeping tasks such as snow removal
- Carry out ongoing, proactive, and scheduled Club maintenance to ensure a safe, reliable, and well-maintained Club environment
- Occasional on-call and after-hours availability is required
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in general building operations and maintenance
- Working experience with building automation systems
- Perform maintenance on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, lighting and other electrical systems
- Previous experience working with low pressure heating boilers
- Proficient in reading and understanding building plans and technical documentation
- Well-rounded handyman skills to perform general repair and maintenance work
- Ability to balance strong teamwork skills with the ability to independently complete tasks and follow through on responsibilities
- Fifth Class Power Engineer certification preferred
- Relevant trade (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry) certification would be an asset
- Reliable transportation is required as there is no public transportation to our location

Additional Details:
This is a Full-Time salaried position that reports to the Operations Manager. The successful candidate must have availability during the day and may be required to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays, so a flexible schedule is required.
