Housekeeper

The Glencoe Golf & Country Club is a private country club offering 45 holes of championship level conditions. We are situated on 440 acres along the Elbow River just west of Calgary along Highway 8. The Glencoe Golf & Country Club is seeking seasonal full-time Housekeepers to join our team for the upcoming 2024 Golf Season. As a Housekeeper you will ensure a seamless, clean and safe experience throughout all our amenities. You will ensure a seamless, clean and safe experience throughout all amenities, providing a welcoming environment for all members and guests while setting the highest standard for our beautiful facility at all times.

Responsibilities:

• To provide service excellence to members and guests
• Vacuuming and mopping as required in assigned areas
• Clean mirrors, sinks, toilets, urinals, vanity areas, cubicles and doors as required
• To replenish supplies and empty the garbage
• Effectively address maintenance requirements and member concerns and complaints immediately if possible, and take to supervisor when needed
• Works closely with the membership, housekeeping colleagues, and laundry to ensure service requirements are met
• Ensures compliance with all Glencoe Health and Safety standards and the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety regulations

Qualifications:

• Must have a positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to be flexible in daily duties (duties change frequently)
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job including standing for an extended period of time, walking, lifting, grasping and performing repetitive motions
• Ability to converse and accurately follow verbal/written instructions in English
• First Aid & CPR Certification is considered an asset
• Reliable transportation is required as there is no public transportation to our location

This is a full-time seasonal position that will run from April 1, 2024 until October 31, 2024.

This position is 40 hours per week, with hours varying from 6am-2pm or 1pm-9pm.
